The old message board

Hi there  ,
It's been a while since I last dropped into the message board and I see that it has totally changed in the layout and I used to love going through some of the questions and replies on various problems and on occasions answering them, where have they all gone?

You're right - its all changed! We did keep the old message board welcome page open for a while, with a link to the new board, but now we're directing visitors straight here.
We hope that you'll find the new format easier to use and the fact that it prevents spam postings will hopefully make it more pleasant for everyone, but I'd forgotten about the fact the URL forwarding from the old message board means that you can no  longer browse old postings. Sorry about that!

Is it not possible to export the old discussion threads from the previous board over to the new one?

I'm afraid not, it was a very basic solution using FrontPage rather than a database, so there's nothing we can do. We're still learning how to make the best use of this forum application - trying to get a link in the header back to the main Simplyfurnishings.com website is providing tricky enough! 
Once I've worked that out I'll also put a link back to the old forum too.
