Hi!  I hope someone can help.  I have to work out the finished length for eyelet curtains.  The customer is using the existing pole and I have a hook to floor measurement, and a hook to top of pole measurement.  Do I need to allow extra for above the eyelet? and where in relation to the finished length does the top of the eyelet sit?  The eyelets will be 66mm in diameter and are metal and not on a tape. Helen.

Hi Helen

Measure from the top of the pole to the required finished length - Add extra to this figure for above the eyelet. I allow 4cms above the pole and set my eyelet machines jig to place the eyelet 4cms from the top.

Hope this helps.
