I have been asked to estimate and make up full length curtains with a fabric that has a half drop and a 90cm  pattern repeat and when I look online and in books I am getting different ideas on how to estimate fabric quantities, can anyone help?

A half-drop pattern does not match straight across the fabric but about half way between repeats on the other edge.

The best way to be certain of buying enough fabric is to work it out as if it were an ordinary repeat and add half a repeat to each drop, except for the first one. Then when you have the fabric you will have plenty of fabric to place the pattern where you wish on the curtain.
