Hi

Make them in your usual way, use the correct thread and needle. I wouldn't iron them, silk creases, it's part of the natural beauty of silk. A lite iron over the seams will be ok, but easy on the steam and silk shrinks!

Do I need to use different thread? What do you suggest, also do I need to use fine pins. I have long pins from M&D.
Also the interlining I have been asked to use is the very cheap polyester type yuk. I have asked if she would like a better quality for the drawing room, but no!
What should I do,do you think.

I've used synthetic interlining with silk and not had a problem - The silk will react to the room moisture so you may want to explain this to your client. Use a cotton thread.
