Faulty Goods
We offer a full refund in instances where our Teach Yourself Guides are faulty. This would include for example: a defective CD ROM, or missing pages within a download.
  • In order to receive a full refund or replacement of a faulty item it is important that you report the fault to us by email as soon as possible. 
  • We will then request that you return the faulty product to us by post. Upon receipt of the product and once the fault has been confirmed, we will offer you the choice of a full refund or replacement and will also refund the cost of the outbound and return delivery.

  • Our Individual Teach Yourself Guides are sold separately as DOWNLOADs, these are in Adobe PDF format. These guides are not sent by post in printed form.
  • We do not typically offer a refund in instances where a customer is simply dissatisfied with the nature of our product, if it appears that they have not read all of the available product information and advice. 
  • provides additional resources through our web site which help to facilitate the use of the Teach Yourself Guides. These include a glossary of terms, a free guide to basic sewing equipment and techniques, and a discussion forum for advice on sewing queries.

In line with UK law, customers who change their minds about the purchase of our Teach Yourself Guides or CD are entitled to a refund within 7 days of receipt of delivery.  In the case of our CD we will provide a refund of the outbound delivery charge and price of the product, but the customer will be responsible for the cost of the return postage.
