Simply Furnishings was established in the early
1990s by Wendy Molnar and operated as a small business that she ran from her home in
Fleet, Hampshire.
Traditionally the company has offered a personalised interior design and made-to-measure
soft furnishings service, allowing clients to furnish their homes in style, with quality
soft furnishings designed to suit their own needs and tastes. As part of this service we
offered professional advice on appropriate designs and colour schemes and were able to
source a full range of fabrics and other materials at discounted prices from our selected
suppliers. |

and since 2007 the business has been part of Alma Ventures Ltd. |

educational, informative and inspirational soft furnishing and interior design related
resources to our customers. Our web site is e-commerce enabled, allowing
visitors to purchase our unique range of TEACHYourself SOFT
FURNISHINGS© sewing
guides online at a
fraction of the cost of similar hardback soft furnishings guide books available in the
high street. The guides are available individually in
downloadable PDF format and can also be purchased as a full set at a
discounted price.
With the help of these carefully illustrated and easy to use step-by-step guides,

and the other useful resources that can be found on our web site, we
hope to provide our visitors with everything they need to know about

with continued help, support and sewing advice from Wendy.
Our aim is to make SimplyFurnishings.com as
helpful, interesting and user friendly as possible. In addition to our own content
we are continuously adding to the site with information about other useful interior design
and furnishings resources. Our UK Supplier Directory is still work in
progress but is intended to help you find the
